A 20-year old “Get Well” card.

When I heard that Jo, Vin’s cousin, wasn’t able to make Vin’s birthday brunch — because she’s not feeling all that well… I combed through my box of cards to see if I had something appropriate.  When I came across this envelope I’ve been hoarding, er, keeping, for 20+ years, I knew that if anyone deserves a keepsake handmade by my daughter Jamie when she was about 6 … Jo is that special recipient.  For always having a smile on her face and being the first to arrive at a party — Jo gets the special envelope.  I hope she feels better soon and that Jamie’s colorful triangles make her as happy as they’ve made me all these years.
