A little Valentine from Meghan Michaud…

Meghan Michaud is a fellow Rhode Island School of Design Trustee.  She saw that I posted about my father’s being ill — with a strange infection. She knew I was worried — and so came up with her own form of little red valentine:  a typewriter on display at the RISD Museum.

I thought that was a very lovely way to touch my heart, and I really appreciated her thoughtfulness.

(Of course, I already had spotted the little red machine the first day I walked through the museum’s doors!  But it’s nice to have it to look at it here from my desk in California.)
