If you ever wonder if Customer Service is dead, consider this.
Alexis Bittar — a jewelry boutique on Third Street in Los Angeles — has taught its salespeople to follow up with e-mails and/or written notes of gratitude.
My friend Karen Schmidt got this from her salesperson after she bought me a birthday bracelet.
She was so impressed, she sent it to me.
