Art school connections.

Daniele Neuharth at Art Center College of Design gave me and our mutual friend Laura Mueller, lunch and a lovely walk of Art Center College of Design this summer.

We looked at the school.  Checked out their artwork.  And talked about the importance of thank you notes.

Daniele confided her grandfather taught her correspondence is the backbone of a strong business relationship.

No wonder she went into Development — which is really all about sociability, shared interests, and  ‘relationship building’.

Daniele wrote me a lovely letter last week — mentioning a RISD professor who’s coming out to a conference her college is holding…

and I wanted to thank her for thinking of me…

thinking of Rhode Island School of Design …

and mostly, I wanted to give her something tangible to open when the mailman comes around!

(I’m also going to tell the Professor she noticed is coming to their conference to be sure to say “hello” for me.)
