You. Are. Awesome.

Donna and I have a friendship that dates back 36 years.  Yikes!  We met at CBS, when I was doing my first job out of college.

On a job interview, she waited in my small, windowless secretary’s office to see my boss, the Assistant News Director.

As Donna says, “We started talking … and never stopped.”

We joke that we send each other more love letters than we’ve gotten from any of the men in our lives… combined.

This card  — “You.  Are.  Awesome.”  was in the mail the other day… and I love not only the sunglass-clad baby but

the fact that she found it and took the time to send it to me.  Happy Anniversary, DBG!
