Bridget Moynahan keeps stamps in her purse.

I thought I was the only person in America who carries stamps with me.  I have a few tucked away in my wallet just in case…

maybe I’m at the carwash and see a card that’s too pretty to pass up…

or find a clipping that cries to be sent out that day…

whatever the need, I’m a former Girl Scout who always wants to be prepared.

I was excited to read in PEOPLE magazine that BRIDGET MOYNAHAN admits to doing the same thing.  In the column, “What’s In My Bag?”
where celebrities dump out the contents of their purses — it says:

“POST HASTE:  I’m probably the only person who still carries stamps.  I keep them handy so I can mail postcards from museums as soon as I buy them.”

I love that, Ms. Moynahan.  Keep mailing!  It’s good for the U.S. Post Office and besides — who wouldn’t want to get a pretty postcard from you?

(I looked carefully to see which stamps, too.  Seems she prefers the yellow bonsai collection.)
