Childhood friends.

Jamie’s been friends with Nicole ever since they were in nursery school at Temple Isaiah.  Her first sleepover was at Nicole’s house… and I was close with Nicole’s mother, who died when the children were young.  I wanted Nicole to know that her Mom would have been proud of the strong young woman she’s become, and I hope my note to her won’t upset her — but remind her of the lovely person her Mommy was…
