Clean teeth and dirty purses.

I like having a dental hygienist who’s a bit freaky about dirt.

She can floss (herself) for 20 minutes non-stop.

She’s got endless patience for finding even the tiniest hint of a problem.

The other day, she noticed a problem.  Root canal looked suspicious.

She dropped everything, called for X-rays, and her theory was confirmed.

When we returned to the humdrum cleaning part of the appointment,

she admitted that she’s a little bit OCD about putting her purse on the

ground.  Too much dirt, she laughed.  I made a mental note to look

for a purse holder when I was out & about… and today, when I found

one, bundled it up with a clean little note.
