Clearly in love.

We’ve talked about it ever since John Wentworth and his husband Jamie Gluck moved into our neighborhood — but finally, after two years of planning and procrastinating, we got our Progressive Dinner together.  Jamie’s an acccomplished chef & restaurant owner, so I knew his appetizers would be mouth-watering — and equally intimidating.

My desserts were not as spectacular, but equally well-intentioned.  I gave John a candle, since he loves them and is an afficianado.  The next day, a gift was delivered to us:  a special candle (black wax!) that John uses and likes… needless to say, I lit it immediately.
