Dora Doll found, age accuracy requested by my penpal Cate (age 7) (*).

Cate Ferrall (my 7-year-old pen pal from New York) wrote to tell me:

(a) Thanks for putting her cards on the website.  (I sent her Daddy the link so she could see her work in “lights”).

(b) The Dora doll I gave her little sister Grace — that got “lost” at Grandma’s here in California — has been found!

(c) Please correct her age… she’s 7 not 6.

It was a hybrid:  a thank you AND a newsy, fact-checking report all in one.

I stand corrected, Cate, and thank you for letting me know.
