Because it’s fun to get mail — and to send it — I decided to write Gloria Gordon not one but TWO separate ‘thank you’ notes for the two surprise gifts she got me … it’s more exciting to get something in the mail one day after another, I figured, than one big old letter thanking her for both the bracelet and the butterfly ring she just gave me.

I know how she loves getting mail — so this will extend the pleasure for her.
