Mark Slicker, who is the only person I trust to color my hair — and David Patterson, partner extraordinaire —

have created an enclave in their Westwood salon where I settle into a comfortable chair and forget the whirl

around me.

David pulled out a note I’d sent him to make an appointment — and said he keeps them all.

I decided to add to his collection even though I just noticed a few typos and it’s in the mail.
