A friendly update…

I got to meet Daniele Neuharth when my friend Laura Segura-Mueller (whom I’d met at our Harvard Fundraising course) and I visited the Art Center College of Design… and Laura and Daniele were friends.

Daniele understands the power of a handwritten note… and she & I have exchanged several.

I realized when I saw a job posting for her Development Department that I owed her a letter… so sat down to write one this morning before my day exploded.

She’d known I was looking for a position in her field, and had offered to help with any advice I might need.  Since we share a love of colleges that promote students in the arts, I am eager to maintain our new relationship, and a letter is a pleasant way to let her know I’m thinking of her.
