Genius at the drafting board…

On the late-night News, there was a story about plans for a new architectural design

that was ethereal, floating above the ground.  I guessed in a flash from the

description it was my friend Ron’s work.  We’d struck up a friendship on an

airplane and when we got back to Los Angeles, I went downtown to see

the re-built location where he works.  Before the news was over, I raced to

send him a congratulations note.  Who doesn’t like to get a fan letter?  If

it’s true that all we truly want is to be seen & appreciated, it’s my way of doing the

“bump”.
