Good wishes from my doctor.
I got back from Rhode Island School of Design — where I zoomed through days of non-stop meetings — and came home in time to throw a surprise birthday party for my friend Darlene.
It was a hit, and she was totally dumbstruck. (I now know what the term “jaw-drop” looks like!)
I had a regularly scheduled appointment to see my internist Dr. Ruiz post-party.
He gave me a vitamin infusion, and his sage advice as usual.
As I was getting ready to leave he showed me his glass bowl full of “messages”. I often read one and leave it behind.
“GOOD WISHES” was just too cool not to take.

It read:
GOOD WISHES.
As a master my heart is filled with recognition of the value of others. I feel I want them to do well and be successful. The success of others is really my success.”

Dr. Ruiz urged, “You know all about giving people good wishes. This one’s for you. Take it.”
I didn’t disagree. I tucked it in my pocket and now share it with you.
