“Jimmy Kimmel Live”.

Ty-WolkyElvis photo-bombs the picture.

I’m a long-time “JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE” viewer.  So addicted am I that when I went to a sleep psychologist to figure out how I could curb my insomnia, he diagnosed part of the problem:  I was staying up every night to watch “Jimmy Kimmel”.   When I started cutting out the last half-hour, my sleep pattern suddenly got a lot easier.

But I digress.  As a long-time fan, I’ve always wanted to see it tape live.  Didn’t pursue it, but when our friend John Wolk, who’d been a Broadcast Standards & Practices expert for Vin’s show invited us any time — I decided to take action.  I invited our friends Biff & Lynda Levy, who have known “Wolky” since he was eight.  The four of us trooped to Hollywood one afternoon and John treated us to first-class VIP-dom.

After it was over, and we were back in the bright lights of Hollywood Boulevard, I said, “We need to take a selfie!”

Vin got out his phone, we crowded in behind him — and to our delight, “Elvis” piled in too.

It was a magical day and I thank John for everything he did to make my dream come true.
