Julie Ho has a company called “Confetti System out of Brooklyn.  She creates “fantastical decorations” and huge art deco-style chandeliers, trellises for Solange Knowles;  custom confetti for Beyonce;  a life-size London taxicab & phone booth for J. Crew’s flagship store in the United Kingdom.  And more.

“Something as simple as an old pile of paper in a 99-cents store inspires me,” Ho reveals.  “But there’s a fine line between simply being crafty and elevating these materials.  They could so easily look like a school project.”

Paper flowers — combine the beauty of nature AND the excitement of paper.  Keep on creating, Julie.  I wish I could see your work in person.  I wouldn’t know where to look first!
