“Museum gook” and making a date.
Correspondence is not limited to cards. A note in the mail — especially with a
little gift enclosed — can brighten up a day too. I sent Lynda some “museum putty” after her first Southern California earthquake. (She’s a transplanted East Coast girl). She played with it and secured her collection of glassware. We played “calendar” — infinitely nicer than 4 or 5 harried e-mails back & forth.
