What do Noguchi, Christy Hale and Alexis Bittar all have in common?

We discovered that Alexis Bittar, the jeweler, is inspired by artist Noguchi.  I mentioned alertly that my friend from high school, Christy Hale, wrote and illustrated a children’s book about him.  I sent a ‘great to meet you’ note to Alexis Bittar in Brooklyn… then a few days later, sent him an autographed copy of Christy’s book.

This is the letter I enclosed, along with a picture of Gloria G. and me that was taken last week — in case he forgot.  (I hope he didn’t.)  I’m fairly certain that between the Noguchi book and the picture, it will jog his memory.
