Chuck Larsen, a long-time friend — and someone who’s been in the television/syndication business forever —

knows of my typewriter obsession.

He found this clipping in the Pacific Palisades paper and sent it to me.

Steve Soboroff is the pre-eminent typewriter collector IN THE WORLD, it says.

He gets his machines repaired at the same place I do — by Ermanno of Star Office Machines.

My friend Louise Marler has done work for Steve, too, designing art pieces of his favorite historic machines.

I hope one day I can meet him too.

In the meantime, I love that he’s holding the flag aloft for Royals everywhere.
