Assemblywoman (now State Senator) Holly Mitchell

We live in a gated community where we don’t know everyone — or their politics.  When our neighbors Bruce & Debra invited us to meet our local Assemblywoman Holly Mitchell (she was running for office), I jumped at the chance to hear her… and thanked our hosts for the opportunity.  Also a plus:  because they live just a few houses away, I could drink & not drive! (Their candidate got my vote).

Holly Mitchell has recently been elected to our Senator.  Seems to me her political career trajectory is straight up.
