Priceless.

For my birthday back in June, I slid a group of art-lovers into a fundraiser for the Laguna Art Museum.  My sister Annie loved one offering — a “priceless” auction item that would take a small group behind-the-scenes of the Huntington Library, when it was closed to the public.  Vin bid on it — and to Annie’s delight, we won it.  After much calendar-ing, we chose a Tuesday — and had a delightful day with a limo ride up from Orange County, a tour with Curator Catherine Hess, and lunch at The Athenaeum at Cal Tech afterwards.

I wanted to thank Malcolm for taking the day off to male our auction item happen as promised in the brochure.
