A red fur stole that almost stole my heart.

There is no purpose to having a red fur stole.

I just wanted to try it on, though, when I saw it.

And Nicholas Barajas was my obliging salesman.

I was down in Orange County, killing time while Vin bought some shoes

at  fancy South Coast Plaza.

I wandered down a few doors and blundered into Lanvin…

where I was the only person in the place.

Nothing caught my eye until I saw this red fur stole…

it even had pockets.

I came back to show it to Vin, and Nicolas let me

try it on again… but ultimately, better judgement

prevailed and I left it behind.

I wanted to thank Nicolas for letting me have the

fantasy for even a few minutes so I wrote him a

quick note today.
