Setting up shop.

When I heard that my friend Sig was ill — and in a long-term residence care home — I made time to run over to see him.  As I walked in, the room was alive with activity — his daughter Jennifer was moving a bed out, things were being re-arranged, and I saw an opening to help.  I assessed that water/drinks/food didn’t have a place of its own.  After a bit of delicate cajoling, I got Sig’s permission to run down the street to Marshall’s and see what I could find.  I snatched a 3-drawer wicker storage chest and walked back with it to the home.  I was delighted when I got a note back that Sig liked my ’30-minute makeover’, and now I’m sending a few labels to make it even easier.
