Spaghettini & Route 66.

For years I’ve heard about “Spaghettini and the Dave Koz Lounge”.  It was a regular jazz offering on 94.7 THE WAVE, and I caught that wave quite often.

When I noticed “Spaghettini” had opened up next door to SPAGO on Canon Drive — I was ecstatic.

We booked brunch with our friends Lloyd & Sherry Weintraub and Eytan & Morlene Keller.   It took weeks to coordinate all of our schedules and we were looking forward to our morning together.
Sadly, it didn’t work out as planned.  Lloyd got very ill — and couldn’t join us.  We toasted our Champagne in his honor, and then got to experience a wonderful morning of jazz.  We met VINCENT INGALA, the talented saxophonist who was headliner.  Turns out his mom is a major fan of “IRON CHEF”, which Eytan directs.  We heard another vocalist, Lisa Casalino, newly here from Florida.  At 3 o’clock, we tore ourselves away … and the music was still going strong.  I wrote a note to the Manager to let him know how much we enjoyed the entire experience.  And I promised Lloyd we’ll book it again so he can experience it too.Vincent Ingala, saxophonist
