The tan may have faded…

I’m going through my “letters to post” file — having done some Spring Cleaning — and found this delightful note from Jackie Liebergott, the former long-time President of Emerson College in Boston.

She came out for the opening of the new Los Angeles campus.

I encouraged her to get a fake tan — something we’d always joked about — and she let me convince her!  She had a great time with her new look, temporary as spray tans are, and she was a bit disappointed when she had to leave the land of spray booths and flip-flops.

Jackie was a major force in getting the school to create a building out here, and she deserved all the accolades she’s gotten for her vision and dedication.  We invited her to come back out for Vin’s 70th birthday, but she had other things going that weekend — but I know she’s still looking for her beautiful building on Sunset Boulevard.
