Times flies.

David Ferrall sent me a picture of his daughter Cate — my long-time pen-pal — at her birthday party today.  I was particularly interested to see her at a vintage typewriter — at the Brooklyn Farmacy in where else? Brooklyn — with some friends.

I realized Cate and I have been corresponding since she was about four.

I’m very happy to have been part of her life for such formative years.  I hope we stay in touch as long as she wants someone to write!
