Tip: Type it, get it done. Print & mail.
My writing teacher Linda used to dread writing thank you’s — because she, like me, is more computer-dependent than a pen & paper lover.
“Just type it,” I urged. “It’s better than sitting on it and feeling guilty.”
I’m glad to see Linda took my advice — and because she’s a fabulous scribe, her message is just as powerful (and easy to read) in the new format.
Tip: When in doubt, get it out. Don’t worry what format it’s on. Something is better than nothing, and ultimately, people would rather hear from you than get no message at all.
Type it on the computer. Type it on your typewriter. Do whatever makes it easy — and then print & mail. And pat yourself on the back. Or I will.

And thank you again, wonderful Erica. Yes indeed, without your example I never ever would have typed my thank you’s. Illegible as my handwriting is, I’m so very grateful for your example. And your love!
