A trio of pictures tells a story.

CLICK THIS TO SEE MY BROTHER-IN-LAW’S TRIO OF PICTURES:        Gary McKee email

We joke that my brother-in-law Gary McKee would have been a great paparazzi.  He gets the photo nobody else thinks of — when everyone else is shooting front-on, he goes for the back-of-the-head or ‘lurker in the bushes’.   At my father’s birthday party, we were all inside grabbing memories.  Gary was outside, looking in.  He sets up a tripod for casuals.

He sees things nobody else catches.

As quirky as his approach — and I kid him about it all the time — he manages to capture the essence of the moment, somehow.

This e-mail after Christmas was very effective.  He captured the afterglow of the morning.  Showed me what my sister Annie and nephew Reid were doing… and I felt I was with them, even down to the dog Dio lolling on the Newport Beach sand after their walk.

A “thank you” should capture how the gift makes the recipient feel.  Gary McKee’s pictorial e-mail is worth a thousand words.imgres search
