A warm welcome.

I know it’s hard to come into a new position and not know anyone.

When I saw the announcement of a long-awaited Development Director for Rhode Island School of Design’s Museum, I hastened to write our new friend a letter… so when she starts on the 14th of April, it will be waiting for her on her desk.  I know I would pay attention if someone did that for me.  I hope it makes her smile… or at least know there’s someone who cares — even if she’s across the country.
