A life of an actor…

On the occasion of his 85th birthday, we had a party for Robert G., a triple-threat actor.  His talented sister-in-law Candy edited together a video that took us onto the Broadway stage, showed us clips of his groundbreaking television shows, and encapsulated his life.  I was moved to tears the first time saw it — I wanted to keep it as my “screen saver”.  I told Robert the same thing when I wrote him this note after the event… I hope I’m his friend but I will always be his #1 fan.
