A new mentor.

I’ve been matched with a terrific mentor named Amy.  It’s been years since I had an official mentor.  Asa Baber, the columnist of the “Men’s Column” at Playboy Magazine, was my last … and that was 20+ years ago.  We had a far-reaching ‘get to know you’ talk tonight, and I’m flying high.  Since she lives in Los Angeles AND Texas, I got her address there to make sure my letter reaches her while it’s still fresh.  There is nothing worse than a ‘stale letter’ — and I didn’t want mine to languish in her Los Angeles mailbox for a week and a half.
