Decals.

Anything with a typewriter on it gives me a thrill.

Christy Hale, herself an illustrator of several beautiful children’s books, knows my weakness.

She sent me these decals — which I’m saving for a special occasion.

The cool thing is  — I’d just met the creator of them, Julia Rothman, in New York at a RISD meeting a few days before.

Christy’s little typewriters must have been in the mail while I was meeting Julia.

Isn’t that synchronicity at its best?

I was knocked out when I came back from the East Coast and found these in the envelope with Christy’s note.
