Dior, Kimberly King and I.

Kimberly King worked as a personal shopper at Neiman-Marcus for years.  She’s got a list of Hollywood royalty that includes everyone from the Kardashians to very fancy women who shall remain nameless.

She was offered tickets to “DIOR AND I”, a new documentary about Christian Dior.  It had a glittery opening at Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where admirers showed up festooned with their icon’s vintage haute couture dresses, purses, shoes, and whatever else they could scavenge in their closets.

I wasn’t sporting Dior — Kimberly had me wear Lanvin — and neither was Kimberly… she wore a cage-style black dress by Barbara Fank, a friend of hers who is a designer.  She accesoried it with – what else —   the name of the night-designed purse & kicky black sandals.

We had a great time and I highly recommend the film if you like design.https:
