Emergency outfit.

When Vin’s mother got ill, we were on vacation.  I’d packed for New Orleans and Miami, but not for what turned out to be a funeral in Rhode Island.  I went to a local clothing store in Newport late afternoon the day before the funeral — and found a few pieces that would work with the black dress I already had with me.  I wanted to let the saleslady know she’d been very helpful at my time of need.
