Hollywood Museum & Marilyn Monroe.

Donelle Dadigan, the bouncy and upbeat Founder, took us around.  It was astonishing to see all that she’s collected, and to understand once again how sad Marilyn’s life was cut short — when the coroner came to the house, the 40th she’d lived in, the telephone for 9-1-1- was still in her hand.

I wrote Donelle a note this morning and told her that her legacy should be as well-told as Marilyn’s… for she is single-handedly preserving Hollywood’s sparkling and sometimes not-so-beautiful past.
