“Mille Merci” from Alice.

I had a lovely day with Alice and Annie and Susan the other day at the Huntington Library.

Alice and Susan beat me to the punch — I haven’t written MY notes but today I received one from each of them.

Alice mentions “witty & wonderful people”  — and I have to agree.  We appreciated the art, the nature tour, the

lunch at Cal Tech’s Athenaeum.  But most of all, I think we appreciated our own contributions to a sun-kissed day.
