“The nice little things you do…”
…really stack up!
Thank you!
****************************************************************************************************
The first thing I do when I come home from a trip is look through my mail.
Magazines go to the side, they can wait.
Bills take higher priority.
And what do I open first? My personal mail.
A pink card from my niece Kuu Sanford popped to the surface.
She’s at the University of Oregon — a proud, splashing “Duck” —
and I send ‘care packages’ when I find something I think
might
(b) make her laugh;
(c) keep her
warm or dry.
Kuu’s Mommy, my late sister Kitty, died 10 years ago.
Kuu learned empathy early… and is now passing on that love as a Camp Director for Camp Kesem …
a summer getaway for children whose parents have died or are dying of cancers, where she’s a leader.

So Kuu understands how a little act of love can make a big difference.
That’s why I love what she wrote even more — how the “little things” I do for her — like send magazine
clippings, articles, a random long underwear t-shirt … all make her happy….
and “they really stack up”!
Kuu’s card made me feel warm and wonderful, and I share it now with you.
