Ewa Metcalf pays attention.  She knows me.  She’s always on the lookout for anything that has a typewriter — or a story about ‘thank you notes’.

She sent me this article from the Providence Business News (March 16-22, 2015) about a woman, Beth Schart, who’s started a company

that offers handwritten letters.

Beth writes the letters on stationery that the client chooses.

Then sends the package to the client who can mail them from his or her own local post office.

The article says “People can still choose to send their own notes to close friends and relatives, but others can be farmed out discreetly.”

And we know it’s all about DISCRETION!

It’s not the person’s actual handwriting, but it gets the job done…and as I say, is still better than nothing.
