Susan S. and her think-tank.

My sister Annie invited a few close friends to go through the Huntington Library with us the other day.

We talked about thank you letters while we were at lunch — I was toting my Kate Spade ‘typewriter purse’, and the

ladies appreciated the punchy message.

I got two thank you notes in the mail today — one from Susan S., and another from Alice.

That is a thrill, to get TWO from the same event!  I love that…and it WAS a beautiful day.
