A typewriter lost…and a new friend found.

Seth is a major promoter and marketing genius who kindly took the time to meet me at a mutual friend’s behest.  We talked about my blog, how I’m looking for work as a fundraiser, and our general love of old-school paper & correspondence. He remembered that when he’d been in high school, his father bought him a very fancy portable typewriter.  I wondered where it was.  He followed up — and found that sadly, it was missing in action. He’d told me about how he spent a small fortune on embossed stationery, and I was excited when I saw that he’d written me on one of the afore-mentioned treasures.  His personalized card did not disappoint — it was thick and memorable and I’d say worth every penny.
