When a teacher makes a difference…

I let them know.   Rosanne is a Provost  at Rhode Island School of Design now, but her influence as a Furniture professor is indelible.  I try to buy art by RISD alum whenever I can.  When I met Tanya at an art exhibit — I fell in love with a white-on-white piece she’d made… fishnet pressed into handmade paper.  When Tanya mentioned she was a student of Rosanne’s — I forwarded Tanya’s gracious comments to her.  If  I  pass it along, I might make two people happy.  (The second page of this is missing but you can imagine that I continue in the same vein…)
