A wise advisor.
I met Diane Lazar when she had just started working with the Anti-Defamation League.
She listened patiently to how I, too, wanted to transition into the world of fundraising.
We’ve stayed in touch and have semi-regular meetings — or cocktails! — that always prove enlightening.
After our lunch today, I rushed home to write Diane a note and almost got it in the afternoon mail…
except that my mailman waved and said ‘hello’ just as I was pulling into the driveway —
but left my outgoing mail in the box.
Oh well. A day late, perhaps, but still well-intended.
